I know, it's expensive, but I got 10 gallons of some good stuff for a great price at auction. Our 32' bus won't need that much for the roof, and I need to figure out something for these giant transit bus windows. I want to use it on all of the parts of the windows that will have things/walls against them, but I don't want to find out too late that it peels off in the rain or something.

First off paint on inside if you're going to paint, second don't paint!!
Been there, done that. I did exactly what you're trying to accomplish, hide interior cabinets and walls from the outside by painting windows, it's a ton of work to paint glass and you can achieve better results with stick on material. Yes it worked but it was not worth the effort. You can get window blocking material from Amazon for much less cost and time.
Good luck with your build
