First attempt to crank my bus 101

I have got two batteries and tried to crank the bus but it didn't even turn over. I couldn't crank it from from the key and the starter was hard to get to so we used the seloid to crank it. Nothing happened.

When I had this problem, I forgot to plug in the ground wire from the parallel wire, once I did that it started right up. I'd check the plugs, then charge them both with a battery tender, then crank.

dont know much about "parallel" wire,... but negative to ground n positive cable to starter of course... you probably have two group 31 batteries which both positives are hooked together n both negatives to to ground...l (that is parallel wiring) so u have adequate cranking power for engine starting...
