What's the best software for creating floor plans?

Re: Floor plans

Many here use Sketchup. It's free (at least it used to be free) and does a real nice job. There's a steep learning curve but there are a lot of tutorials available online. Not sure if it runs on an iPad.

I'm an ex IT guy but ended up doing my floorplans on paper. Go figure.

Sketchup looks really cool, but it doesn't run on an iPad

I second this. Apple is too expensive, and doesn't offer expandability. They force you to buy a newer product. Not a green choice by any means.

I like sketch up too. I enjoyed sitting there drawing.
