Free Partially Converted Skoolie

Free Partially Converted Skoolie, Needs New Gasket

Hello bus-loving friends. Due to circumstances (I am in the Army, don't have the time, they sent me to a new state) I am unable at this time to finish converting my bus and live the skoolie dream.

The bus is an International Thomas with only 87K miles. To the best of my knowledge, the only real issue is that the radiator is leaking into the oil due to a blown gasket. Repair man quoted me $2000 to fix.

32' long. Currently no electricity or plumbing. Nicely insulated and as a wood-burning stove.

While I would love to fix her up and do the skoolie thing, it is just not a possibility right now. Before having this bus towed to the scrap yard, I wanted to give the bus-loving community a chance to adopt her from me, free save for those incurred in You obtaining her (towing, etc.)

The bus is located in Colorado Springs, CO. I am stationed in Arizona. The friend on whose property I am storing it is moving and I need to find a new home for it within two weeks.

My hope is that this can be a blessing to someone(s) who is looking to jump into the skoolie life and have the adventure I am currently unable to.

What an offer, holy moley! Good luck on the giveaway, man. Shouldn't take long. People will want more details (engine, trans, brakes) and pics would be appreciated too. A bargain at twice the price.

What a heart breaker, sorry you've found yourself in this predicament.
Good luck, and THANK YOU for your service!

I live near Colorado Springs and I would be interested in looking at the bus. Can you give more information?

Hi

I know this is an old thread, but did you get any takers? I’m in COS and bus hunting so I thought I’d ask

Hi, if the bus is still available I would love to learn more. This is an awesome deal.

I'm going to guess that since he had a 2 week deadline, and hasn't been back on the site on over a year, that the deal has expired.
