Generating electricity

I'm toying with the idea of a vertical wind generator right now. It doesn't have to be very powerful. 60w would be great. It has to work below 5mph though because most of the wind here is below 5mph.

I'm thinking that with my new low lower plans, 60w of consistent generation will be sufficient. More, if course would be better.

I seem to recall a generator displayed once that passed butane between plates to generate electricity but haven't seen it since. Any idea what happened to that idea?
