Gluing XPS foam

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on how to glue XPS to itself. I’ve been extremely inpatient all my life, so gluing things together I want it done yesterday. I’ve had a few gallons of Borden’s water based contact adhesive for a number of years that I’ve used building model railroad scenery. I recently ran out of my stash and I was concerned since Borden’s no longer manufactures it. I went to the laminate supplier that I purchased my countertops for the bus (ELEANOR). He sold me a gallon of Wilsonart H2O contact glue and said it would work flawlessly. Just follow the instructions. A bit pricey. $62.00 a gallon. But we’ll worth it for me. He was right. It worked flawlessly for gluing XPS together. I wouldn’t use it on the EPS with a foil cover. 3M contact spray worked great for that on my bus. BUILD ON BROTHERS & SISTERS !!!
