Yeah, the plywood just sits there soaked, keeping the metal floor soaked. Galvanization does not prevent rust, it just resists it. Imagine what the floors would look like if it were not galvanized.

I have not been on the roof yet but I can see old caulk on the sides. I think all the water comes in from the roof and windows and sits on the floor.

The hole just before the rear wheel well is the worst on the floor.

Have not gotten to the back wall yet

You're really going to enjoy putting ospho on this (if that's what you're intending to do) and then painting it. Very satisfying stuff, IMHO.

Yes, ospho is what I’m using. Wet weather here in Ohio does not give me the chance to get the rust off before more light rust comes back. I’ll have to prep with ospho in sections

I got so excited walking into my bus two days after using the ospho and seeing all the black spots. I did mine in a couple of sections as well. Make sure you wash the floor (I used a grinder instead, I was not getting my floor wet again lol) after the ospho treatment. That's not listed in the instructions, but it's necessary for the primer to stick.

A damp mop does well to remove any residue, but puts a very thin coat of water that evaporates quickly.
