Got the Spray Foam Done...

Spent this spring/summer getting the bus ready to spray foam. Before getting bids I shot ~50 small cans of foam, filling the hard to get places (above the windows) and filling deep areas below the windows, in several lifts. I masked off the entire job ready to spray....

Got 3 bids and hired a local guy with 11 years in business, his bid was just over the price of DIY kits. He did a great job, adding about 1 1/2" - 2 1/2". After I shot another 30 small cans to touch up a few angles he could not get to.

Big step for me getting foam done before the long winter, I'll be able to work away nice and warm inside.

Looks a little thin on the ceiling. Do you mind me asking how much it cost you total? I'm about to do mine.

Include the guys price plus cans.

He definitely kept it clean and has a really smooth spray. I personally would have hoped for a little heavier, thus requiring a bit more cutting and clean up. That aside, it's a damn clean job!

It's a minimum of 1.5" which is enough to condensation proof this metal tube. Adding more inches adds surprisingly little to CHFR.

Nikitis the small cans are about $4 in the big box stores.
The bid was $200 more than 2 600ft kits and shipping. Coming up on winter I've seen some DIY kits go on sale to clear out older stock.
