Re: Harbor freight power inverters
i have a 2000 watt Harbor Freight inverter. it's identical to a coleman powermate 2000 watt inverter i had in my last bus, just has a different sticker on it. I think it's from chicago electric. I've used it a lot, including running a freezer while i drove from michigan to nevada and back a couple years in a row. On the trip this year we were parked and i wanted to use my microwave, but my 2000w geni was buried somewhere in all the stuff we brought with us. I brought a honda eu1000 that belonged to another guy and it was very accessable. It's like a 1.2 or 1.5 kw microwave and the small 1K watt geni didn't make enough power. I started the bus and let her idle while i plugged the microwave into the inverter and everything worked just fine.
