Heater Core wiring removal question

Hello,

I have a 2000 Blue Bird All American bus I just started the process of converting and was wondering if anyone knew if there is any wiring that can't or shouldn't be cut from the heater core? Looking to remove the heater core located underneath driver seat, but not sure if there are any wires that shouldn't be cut.

Anyone who's familiar with this process?

You have a heater under the driver's seat or farther back? I imagine you have two wires going to the motor. I would disconnect them and put butt connects on them for future use. If you are sure you won't be using them, I would disconnect back at the switch and cut out as much as you want since it won't have power to wires.

Thanks for the feedback Crazycal.

I've removed 2 heater cores, one from back and middle.
The one under driver's seat is the last one pending.
I shut off valve in motor for coolant and was planning on removing hoses and pipes along with the heater core underneath driver seat.
I just want to make sure I don't touch any wires on the floor that affect anything else other than the heater core.

I plan on removing the heat system and not knowing what those wires control makes me nervous. I want to make sure nothing else is affected.

Just put butt connectors on them and you should be fine.

Make sure you have enough buckets for the coolant because there is lots of it. Don't let any animals near it because it will kill them.

As long as the switch is off there is no power to any of the heaters. There should be two water valves, one near the water pump and one near the rear or the engine, make sure you have them both closed or you will still lose the water out of the engine.
Are you taking out the under dash heat/defrost as well? If not you need to close the loop back up and open the valves for it to work.
