How to reuse seat frames and ceiling panels

I have all of my metal seat frames and ceiling panels out of the bus. I was thinking about hanging on to them to see if I might need to reuse them for metal as I am building. However, they are taking up a lot of room for a "what if".

I would prefer to call a scrap metal guy if they are not going to be any use.

I know that I will want to use three or four seat frames for the dinette.

I thought maybe use others to weld some kind of frame for holding tanks, LP tanks, or storage under the bus.

How did you reuse your seat frames and ceiling panels?

After you got rid of them did you wish you had them back for anything?

Well, use what you need until you're finished and scrap the rest. That's my plan. I saved the ceiling steel to box in some insulation, then insulate over that to add rigidity to the body. The thermal break will help as you insulate over the steel. As far as the chairs go, I scrapped mine in California to make my trip legal to Texas (leave it to the progressives to make a mountain out of a mole-hill). So that's my observation............

Well that's kind of my issue. I don't have a lot of room for stuff sitting around, but I'll make room if I'm going to use it.

I'm going to do my ceiling in wood so I'm not going to use it there. I'm just wondering if others have reused it.

I saved two seat frames to make a dining area, you could also mount some bucket seats to them for passengers to sit in.
