idea on upflow home made a/c tell me what you think

i have a old upflow air handler and thought about buying the highest btu window unit (110) they sell and take it apart and make a air handling unit out of a air window unit. i drew a pic of what i meant but cant get it to stick to the page.so i put it here on my web page tell me what you think can it work.
