I finally started painting my bus this evening! After a few weeks of getting ready, I finally feel like I'm making some progress. I've got the roof done and the hood and sides. I'm using some Dupont Imron paint and I am VERY impressed with this paint. I'm rolling it on with a foam roller and it goes on great. It only needs one coat. It smoothes out really nice and has a great shine to it! I can see my reflection in it. I'm painting the black on now and will paint the flames on next weekend. I also painted my rims with some silver Rustoleum Hammered paint and they look fansastic! I'm going to finish it up tomorrow and I'll post some pics when I'm done! WOO HOO! I'm pretty excited about it! After this, I'm going to take all of the windows out and put new weather stripping in and solve this rattling problem. Some of them will be fixed to the up position permanently. Some will be painted black from the inside. Some will be tinted. Then I'm going to paint the ceiling an aluminum color. In the bedroom area, I'm going to paint it a dark red. Then I'll lay down some 3/4" ply on the floor and start building! WOO HOO!
