Input on closed cell spray insulation.

We are going to have a professional install spray foam closed cell insulation in our bus. Has anyone had problems with condensation or mold with going this route? Any info will be appreciated.

I haven't heard of anyone having problems but from everything I've read, let the foam fully cure before you start putting up the ceiling and walls. I'm getting ready to apply the closed cell insulation and I'll be doing it myself. It WON'T be a rainy day and I'll let it cure for at least a week of dry weather before I start building. This is my personal preferred method. Otherwise I think you're looking at mold, health issues and possibly creating an environment where rust will want to form by trapping moisture. It's better to be patient and safe than sorry down the road.

I'm also subbing out the foam insulation. As an added measure, I'm adding an underlayment moisture barrier prior to laying the floor grid.

I don't know if this is necessary, but it makes sense in my head.

My 2 cents.

On the floor I'll use a moisture barrier as well... under 1" foam board.
