Glad i asked. Thanks. That lip tgat sticks out tho. I was thinking to cut it somehow. Looks like it will be in the way of framing or putting up walls or something?

Should i go ahead and remove this part of the walls? Initially, I was gonna leave it as to not remove it unnecessarily and regret it but now I'm having second thoughts
