Hey Tom congrats on the bus.
Not sure if I'm missing something here but what was the verdict on the engine? Is a head replacement needed/confirmed? Are you moving forward on the build before dealing with mechanical issues?
Just my 2cents but I'd want to know it's going to stay together before putting that kind of labor and $$ commitment in to it.
Good luck

Oscar

Ha - yes, I suppose I left that part out.

The oil leak matches your description - weeping leak from the top; so your input was encouraging!

We also got some clarity from the school district; they said that there was an issue with fuel in the coolant, not oil. Based on our understanding, this will likely mean that we will need to budget for replacing the injector cups, but not a full cylinder head replacement as we'd originally heard.

Thanks for the clarification, that's great news.
As you said, now the fun begins.
Cheers
