Insulation ideas for generator area

I was wondering what people are using for soundproofing their generator compartment/area. Right now my genny is mounted to a platform under the bus and I was looking for some ideas on making it a little quieter.

Thanks'
Dan

Re: Insulation ideas for generator area

My biggest problem has been vibration, any tips with cutting down the vibration that comes from generators? I just padded the daylights out of the chamber with my generator with insulation for noise. It is mounted with a rubber buffer between chamber floor and the generator body. What you think?

I've seen a few mounted on valvesprings with the generator mounted to the spring with a rubber well nut.
