Interior height

Hey there!

I'm *thiiiiiis* close to picking up my first bus! And before I physically go down to the school bus storage yard to snoop around (not the best plan, methinks) I had a question:

I was wondering if anyone can share some interior center-height dimensions on the various models of school bus out there. Are some makes taller than others inside? (I'm 6'3" barefooted and expect to knock my noggin anyway, but just curious.) Thanks!!

My 1993 Amtran (Ward) has a ceiling height of 6'6". I am not sure if all of them do. Easy enough to check before you buy. Good Luck, be sure to duck!

I'd guess my 91 BlueBird TC2000 ceiling is 6' - I'm 5'10" and never hit my head.

The bus I am getting is a Thomas with a rasied roof (6'6"). Different schools order different specs so it will vary. On Thomas buses If you see the roof get taller after the driver area it is a high roof model. If the roof goes down then it is a low roof model. I am in the same boat as you. I am 6'3" barefoot. I am going to raise the roof at least 8". I am sick of hitting my head, I want some comfort in my bus.
