internal heaters

I'm trying to find out some info on the internal heaters of my bus. Its a 91 chevy school bus. 66 passenger. as far as i can tell the antifreeze is routed through lines along the side of the bus and into/thru the heaters. the rear heater is much larger than the front one, why? also, we are planning to put bunk beds in the back end of the bus, the larger heater will impede upon our design. any suggestions. i had thought to find a small heater similar to the one in front and use it back there. would that work?? any help is appreciated!!

All buses are different but in my bus there are several heaters in the front. One for the driver and left side defrosters and one on the right by the door for the right side and step defrosters. This would explain why a front heater is smaller, is because there are other heaters up front too. ( and maybe to keep the kids away from the driver )
