Is there a Charger/inverter/distribution combo?

So I have been looking at charger/distribution panels and am wondering if there are any that also incorperate an inverter?

Just seems like it would be cost effective and very clean to install a true all in one unit.

Thanks In Advance

Tony

I have not seen one, however if you build it we may steal from your design....

Re: Is there a Charger/inverter/distribution combo?

We are just adding in dedicated inverters as we need them. Makes it easier to replace when they crap out. I have one $20 750 watt inverter for my LP range electronics, vent for range, ALL my fluorescent lights (so we can use them with no shore power is available). I will probably add another one for the TV & DVD player (clean power... the batteries will filter the dirty generator/shore power or provide a couple hours of TV/movie watching when wanted). But that is just how we laid out our electrical system to suit our specific needs/wants. The big thing is to make sure you get a 3 stage smart charger.

I thought Trace made one for the solar people?

Re: Is there a Charger/inverter/distribution combo?

There are several Iota 3 stage chargers that will supply 50amps of 12v to charge and use...might be an option.
Also if you have the $$ several marine setups can supply the needs

My old Trace 2500 series inverter has a built-in 120 amp three stage charger and automatic transfer switch. A lot of other high-end inverters have a similar setup.

Re: Is there a Charger/inverter/distribution combo?

the answer is yes.
i dont know the manufacturer, but one of our friends who shut their electricity off for good, bought a kit that had the entire panel in one unit.
of course, i am talking about solar instillation...
