Is there a Skoolie Conversion Book available?

We're looking for a good book to guide us through our first skoolie conversion, any recommendations?

Phrannie's Poop Sheets are a great resource for information about the guts of a bus conversion and are free.

There is a lot of coach conversion stuff out there, so if you're looking for "How TO" stuff, besides Poop Sheet by phred, BNO (Bus Nuts Online) and EPIC Conversion Support, I suggest you simply search the web for bus or coach conversions, and you'll find a lot of stuff. As far as printed material goes, there's always Amazon.com and try Bus Conversions Magazine...

I have "Select and convert your bus into a motor home on a shoestring" by Ben Rosander,
and "How to build low cost motor homes" by Louis C. McClure. Both should be helpful for
a beginner. The latter has more technical information on plumbing and electrical and such.

Even though this ain't no skoolie book, Les Lampman, (AKA "ILLUSION"), turned me on to it.... "Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual" by Nigel Calder... You can glean a lot of information out of it and apply it to your skoolie, and I do mean A LOT... I suggest going to the library first on this one though, just flip through it and you'll see what I mean... In fact, check out Les' site on smugmug, http://skoolie.smugmug.com/Illusion:%20 ... conversion

VERY informative
