Lady Propane

I just finished hooking up my stove and I wanted to test. I connected one bottle to the automatic change-over regulator I bought and gas came out the other bottle connector when I opened the valve.

Must an auto-changeover regulator have two bottles connected to it at all times? Is there a "dummy" plug available that would let me run on a single bottle?

Thanks,

Jake.

i honestly wouldnt know but it would make sense that the tank that isnt there has a lower pressure and therefore the regulator would switch to the full tank. you might want to watch it getting low though.

Yes you have to have both hoses connected and yes you can get a plug at least for the older fittings.
