LED Headlights - Running Light issue

I replaced the original headlights on a 2004 IC CE-200 with LED headlights. The headlights work great when they are on, both on Low and High Beam. But if the headlights are OFF, they flash in lieu of what should be the running lamps. Does anyone have any ideas of how to either resolve the issue or remove the running lamps?

I used these lights: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MWH16WJ

Thanks!

I had the same problem when I upgraded the headlights on my 2005 IC RE-300. The headlights are also used as Daytime Running Lights (DRL). I think the DRL signal was incompatible with LED headlights, but was just fine for the halogen bulbs. On my bus, there was a DRL module located behind the steering column under the dash. I disconnected the module. This disabled my DRLs, but my headlights work properly. correctly.

yeppers you may have a separate module for fuse for the DRL.. on my 3800 (year 2000) there was a separate fuse.. i pulled that fuse and it disabled the DRL circuit..

the issue is that the DRL uses the high beam lights at a lower voltage so it messes with the LED headlights.. the older DRL's had the high beam lamps in series when in DRL.. newer vehicles have a set signal they use..

Where else would fuses be?

I can't find anymore fuses outside of the external fuse box (attached photo) and the larger fuses in the engine compartment. I looked under the dash, but can't find anything in there. Where else could fuses be?

Thanks!

DRL module

Not sure if this helps, but here is a picture of the module in my bus. It was mounted on the back of my steering column. I unplugged it, and my headlights worked fine.

Thanks for the picture! I did find it now. I don't think I would have found it without the photo since it was way back there. Mine looks the same as yours.

What part of Alabama are you in? I'm flying into Montgomery on Monday to pick up a 28 foot bus that I bought from a church in Deatsville and then driving it back to CT over 4-days.

I'm in Huntsville, up north. Congrats and good luck with the new bus
