LED Tail Lights?

I bought some LED Tail and marker lights and just wanted to make sure I'm not gonna kill them by just connecting to the old wiring? Can somebody tell me if they need anything special or can they just be connected in place of the old lightbulb lights?

That's the beauty of them, they just plug & play. Wham-bam! you're done!
I put $1700 worth of em on 6 of our work trucks. Needless to say I got in a wee bit of trouble for it, but they sure are perdy!

i hooked them up to the stock wiring on my 65 they look and work great! i think less power to run than a bulb? timbuk

Right, they use about 0.25 to 1 watt, depending on how many LEDs are in it. Some of the fancy, super bright ones take up to 25 watts, but that's still less than the standard 1156 incandescant's 35 watts. The only thing you may possible run into, would be the flasher acting up. Some flashers need a specific load to flash at the right time. The cure to that is to run an electronic one, so no matter what the load is, it'll flash at the same rate.

thanks for the replies, just wanted to make sure dont wanna blow them, after all they are not cheap.
