Leveling jacks

I haven't seen any buses on here with leveling jacks installed. The ladder truck I used to drive in the fire dept had hydraulic actuated, extendable arms w/ leveling jacks at each corner that would lift the entire truck off the ground to stabilize and level it. I was thinking of a similar setup (probably w/o the extension arms) to add to my future conversion.
Are most people not concerned with being level when parked for camping that drive skoolies? Just curious.

The bus we just bought had Trailer jacks mounted on the bumpers. Not something to lift the bus but they work great to tweak the bus level. I think they'd more qualify as stabilizer's than an actual leveler setup. I have yet to come across a campground that needed more than a 2x12 under the tires and some tweaking from the stabilizers when I used my camper. After some time using the bus I can report back on how well they work. I've had the bus less than a week.

I for one would prefer to not roll out of bed in the middle of the night! The most we have ever had to lift a "corner" was in our popup and that was 6 inches in a 12 ft run (TN State Park). Some of the public campgrounds we've been in have been slightly unlevel. And we have hung the back end of the pop up out over more than one 10ft drop... nice thing about popups... they are so lightweight you can open them up and then spin them around in the campsite. The most we have had to level the Class C has been 4" front to back (tires). The site had one low corner in it. Again a public campground (GA State Park).

I've always just carried a half dozen 2x6 boards x 18" long. Put them infront of the wheels and drive up. Very easy and stable.

i use the boards to level then the jacks to stabilize/level slightly.

I may need to look into stabilizers at some point. With three very active kids my bus is constantly rocking. They are even active in their sleep! So I either need to get accustomed to a boat-like sense of constant motion, or get some sort of stabilizers. My driveway at home is sloped, so I have two stacks of four 2x6 boards that I drive onto, and the bus is still on a bit of a slope even then.
