OP said 'expansion tool'. That's for PEX A.
Milwaukee apparently makes a crimp tool also, which would be appropriate for pex b.
FYI I'm using a manual expander. Not as easy or convenient, but with 1/2" or less, it's easy enough. $100 for the kit and it's mine. Probably wouldn't want to do a house with it, but for our bus I'm happy with the choice. Did use it for 1", which was the max the kit supports. That was a challenge! 4 fittings and my arms were Jello lol. I'd personally consider 3/4" to be the practical limit.
From everything I've read, pex A with expansion fittings are the pinnacle of performance, particularly in the long term.
