May Have Found Her, Our New Bus

Good Evening! Thinking we may have found our new bus. 😊 She's a little rough, but aren't they all when they start out. 😉

1991 International (AmTran)
50 Passenger
DT360 Engine
Transmission: Not sure
Almost 300K Miles
Starts right up. After 20 minutes of running, no visible oil leaking.
Electric is good.
2 Brand new batteries.
Tires look great.
Maintenance records back about 10 years.

We're having a mechanic look her over tomorrow and may bring her home on Saturday! Absolutely stoked!

Please let me know if there's a reason we shouldn't be excited. Thanks in advance for comments and help!

Good luck with the checkout. The DT 360's are tough old motors but parts are starting to get tough to come by. Just a heads up.

Hope the mechanic inspection goes well. Welcome to the best bus forum there is. Let us know if you get it.

I'll have a DTA360 in mine.. I did quite ab it of reading on them.. still quite a bit of parts out there and i think jasper still sells them..

mine is a 40k Jasper rebuild so as long as I dont turn it up to hard and blow it up i should be good.. they are supposedly pretty bullet-prooff as long as you dont get em hot

I've heard that you've gotta work hard to make them fail. That's a good thing.

dont run em out of oil and dont get em hot.. I'll have more than one temperature sender for sure... the DT's (360,408,466) really HATE to be overheated...
