Moving Emergency Windows
We want to place the emergency windows in a different place. The windows themselves are the same size; however, the bus body's window frames are sized slightly different to allow for the width of the emergency window part that swings out. The body's lip that currently holds the emergency window is slightly narrower and although the window fits elsewhere, the emergency opening will not slide open through the other window frames.
The obvious fix is to cut the opening; however, the body frame bends in to create a tiny lip however slightly along the edge. I don´t think we could achieve that tiny bend after cutting. Would that be asking for leaks?
Because of our planned layout, only other options are to have the emergency windows unusable (behind kitchen counter) or change our layout (not a fun idea).
Any thoughts ideas or experiences?
