My krudd kutter experience

So I used the krudd kutter since that's what I had and didn't want to wait anymore, so here is a in progress picture top (blue white area) is where I had scrubbed and let it sit for 2-4 mins then wiped it ( found the longer it sat the stronger of a response I got). Wet area is where I was currently scrubbing and the bottom of the photo is where is the before area all orange and stuff still. So far I'm happy with the results and look forward to laying some primer down and keep the good times rolling

Go get a gallon of ospho for $20 and spray it all down before you paint to convert the rust. The Krud cutter won't stop it from rusting out under the primer

There's a whole bunch of Krud Kutter products - including a rest preventer/reformer.

Not saying that a coat of ospho is a bad idea, but the krud kutter IS more then just a cleaner.

is a rust remover and inhibitor and may do the trick. Read the label and see how it is to be used and how long it should remain on the rusted surface.

So here's a update. Had the krudd kutter do it's job of cleaning up the surface and converting the rust to a black material ready for rust inhibitor primer paint. Went on very nicely, used a construction adhesive to seal up the bolt holes and other floor holes. Did a couple of holes in a practice/ test to see if it'll work. I didn't have any troubles or bad reactions with the paint or adhesive. Next up is main coat of paint after that the floor framing can start.

Looking good. You will feel so much better after you get the coat of paint on the floor. It is a milestone that marks the start of the build.

Getting super close, I patched up all (9) holes that needed a larger cut out type piece last night, and the smaller holes are all solid and study 😁 definitely makes me feel better getting closer. Talking about getting the floor down and going camping on air mattresses for the weekend ha
