N14 in a Genesis/International?
He Everyone,
I am looking at an early '90s Genesis FE that the seller claims has a Cummins N14 in it.
Has anyone here ever heard of such a thing? A mechanical 14 liter I6 in a skoolie?
I may need one of those......

As I recall that was based on the 855. Never seen one in a Skoolie but I guess anything could have been speced.

I haven't seen one but unicorns do exist. After seeing a few TC2000FE with MT643 which wasn't an official option I'd believe there's one example of just about anything.

the 14's show up on vin searches for whatever reason. There's no way one would fit in a Genesis. Just no way.

The N14 is a huge engine for the front of an FE bus. Ive had to work on my DT466E and cant imagine an N14 in that engine bay, dare I say, aint no way.

Columbus GA sold several buses with the N14 engines a year or 2 ago. VIN lookups likewise indicated N14 engines. Auction listings also indicated this. Apparently they had a few of 'em ... road-trip buses maybe?

The Cummins N14 is capable of producing between 310 and 525 horsepower, depending on the size of the turbo chosen by the vehicle manufacturer. It is also capable of generating 1,250 to 1,850 foot-pounds of torque at 1,200 RPM.
"1,850 foot-pounds of torque at 1,200 RPM"??? What's not to love!

Any clue what transmission is likely to be in that beast?
I know that the HT-740 was available at that time but I am uncertain about the availability of the 750 or the MD-3060.
N14 and an HT-750 would be a blast!
Working on it would not be.......
