10k is a steal on any decent, complete split window.

Forget sunroofs or skylight windows... The deluxe models draw the most money. Watch for "kombi" models. They go for much less.

Basically wants a base model Kombi. No camper tops or Wesfalias.

Well, God works in mysterious ways. My brother is wanting to make the van into a mobile photo booth for his wife's retirement. She was telling her best friend and landlord what her plans were and her friend tells her she has been paying for her brothers storage booth in a dry heated watertight space for the last 25 years in Santa Barbara, Ca. He is now invalid and hasn't walked in 5 years. He had plans for working on his favorite car and keeping it in great shape Well he never got around to it and she's tired of paying for the space that has only one item in it, a 1969 White VW Bus. The friend is going down to Santa Barbara in a week and will check on the logistics of getting it back to Seattle. This is the same friend of theirs that wrote them a lifetime lease at $2K/m for the $2m house they could rent for $4k a month easy on Bainbridge Island. My brother just got a $40k settlement from the insurance settlement from the woman that ran him over on his bicycle 2 weeks before I bought my bus out there. He's stoked at his luck, so am I.

Cool. It won't have a split window but sounds like a good lead on a vw.
