Natures Head

I currently have a black water tank and regular RV type toilet. Someone please convince me why everyone is going with the Natures Head composting? My thought is I only have to empty the thing once in a while instead of often. Is there something I'm missing? She wants one and I don't.

We have never used or tried to empty either type of toilet so I'm not going to try to convince you one is better than the other.
We made the decision to go for a composting toilet for a couple of reasons. We plan to spend most of our time boondocking and want to conserve our fresh water. We also don't have any place to mount a black tank.

I have full timed in RV's for over 10 years.

8 years with a conventional RV toilet and black tank.

The last two years with a home made composting toilet.

I will absolutely be installing a composting toilet in my bus.

To get a good range of opinions on both sides of the question read:http://www.skoolie.net/forums/f50/co...ets-15586.html
