Need advise from the VETS

I have built a metal box to hold a onan and 4 batteries, I have had a hard time getting my welder over here to hang it. He is so wrapped up.Another welder told me to just bolt it to the cross members, all of em underneath. My question is will it hold? any advise is appreciated

I bought a sheet of steel for 86 bucks I believe, I cut it out with a skill saw, then had it tacked by a friend. Then a buddy welded it out for 20 bucks
its 22x66x18 I believe

for the life of me I cant remember, I did put 2 1 1/2 pieces of angle underneath it so the weight will be mostly on them, as I will attach them to the top supports by using angle as hangers, its not quite 1/8" though

I would bolt it... Bolts are easy to tighten if need be or replace for that matter... Welds crack... Even if you're a good welder, they can crack... Welding will also be a pain in the ass if you ever need to remove it...

BTW, I weld a lot of stuff...

Put a little dab of E-6000 adhesive in the threads to keep the nut from unthreading from vibrations while going down the road. It's cheap and you can get the nut off again if/when you need to. Cheap alternative to a nylon insert nut as well.
