new around here

hey guys in new here, a friend of mine did a big bus (like an eagle) a few years ago and it really made me want one, but on a smaller scale, i want to do a flat nose, frt engine school bus, what do i need to look for, are all school buses 96 wide or do they have any 102, and what is the largest passenger, i know were a 78 or 79 flat nose 87 passenger is that i was looking at buying but i want to be sure and start this project off right......thanks for any info

I haven't seen any 102" wide School buses out there, but I suppose there may be some around. Finding the right bus can be tricky, but sounds like you know what you want. Not sure why you want a front engine over a rear engine though, it's much better putting that loud diesel all the way in the back, keeps the front area quieter when driving down the hiway!!

I have also never seen a 102 wide school bus but not to say that they don't exist. But I do know that there are extra tall flat noses out there... I stood in one at King Transportation in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada where I bought my 72 pass. If I were looking for one like what you describe I would be inclined to get the extra height, but then again I am almost 6' 4" so maybe not an issue for you. But none the less I am sure you will find lots of help here as I have. Look forward to seeing your conversion become a reality!
