Hey, that's in my neck of the woods. One of my neighbors kids bought a Minneapolis transit bus to turn into a party bus. I know they blew a 30' power steering line on the way home. The last time I saw it was behind a tow truck leaving the neighborhood. I'm guessing they couldn't get it started or something after sitting so long at his parents house. My brother rides these busses and says some of them can be pretty scary. One bus he was on had the brake pedal break right off and went through an red light. Luckily no accident.

I would be careful about the Gillig Phantoms they have been selling off. Some of them were listed with extensive rust damage. The Phantoms have a lot of mild steel in the frame that can rust in salted areas. I don't know about the New Flyers though. Mac has not mentioned anything about rust on his bus though.

4 thousand bucks is not a bad price at all!

There is a lot of potential with one of those buses....but i would have a difficult time finding a place to park when we go club-hopping.

It's hard enough to park my 37 footer in some of these parking lots.
