New to me city transit van camera questions

Does anyone know if the camera system that is on the city buses worth anything to anyone. If I get it all uninstalled would anybody want to buy it or is it just junk? I've attached some pictures to show what is in the bus now.

We have bought 2 municipal transit buses which came with these systems and our experience is that they're not worth messing with. It's likely you won't have the physical key or the software/security password and even if you did, they're not very helpful for people who want a security system. Ours didn't have simple playback options, like most consumer DVRs have. We ended up giving our components to the local Habitat ReStore.

Ok, next how do I go about removing all this stuff? I'm really afraid of doing some kind of electrical damage and ruining the motor on the van somehow. Is it all just plug and play? There are a lot of cables.

We did not find that they had any connection to the vehicle's control systems, beyond the power supply line. You should be able to just unplug all the components and leave the wiring, or remove it if you're pulling out wall panels.

Just remove piece by piece, Ours was linked to the bus control system with a hub. when I removed the hub we had several warning light on. Ultimately I reinstalled the hub and disconnected all the dvr wiring from it.
I reused one of the cameras as wired backup cameras and left one at the entrance in place as a security camera. using a separate cheap samsclub samsung dvr that can work on 12 volt.
Good luck
