nice bus need teck help

Only I know it was operated in Philadelphia area , need to get more info, but I would like to be prepared before I call

Oh, is 48 seat a long Bus??

2008 is gonna be a bugger full of wiring and electrical "fun". Not to mention all the emissions equipment and the Cat engine. That's gonna be an extremely expensive rig to keep up for sure.
Just my personal opinion/point of view- I can't afford to mess with anything that new and complicated. Simple is better, thus older is better. I'd take a BEATEN-on 1995 whatever bus over anything that new. My 1998 is new enough to be a PITA to work on, I couldn't imagine one worse.

That's definitely tinted windows.

I was passing a bus this morning in the work truck and saw a bus with dark limo-type tint. Couldn't see anything in that bus.

So my thinking is perhaps the right way

better buy an older model, and spend some money to get it tuned up
as to spend more money at a newer one and have the newer one with all the extra load ( emission and Cat) coming with it..I totally forgot, somebody told me dont buy a bus with a Cat.

But at the same time I ask, does this apply to choach as well?

That bus probably has some emissions equipment that is costly to maintain and repair.
It is new enough that it could still be used in school bus service, so the price will reflect that.
It's probably around 25ft from the dash (based on how many windows it has)

thanks for your input, I already forgot it, when somebody mentioned emission and Cat
appreciate each and every tech advice I can swallow, one learns a lot , asking
BTW: I think it would a but on the short side for my goals anyway, but who knows..
I am looking with one eye into coach as well, but they look longer and I feel they burn a lot more gas I want to pay for, also a lot of things are desirable as well..I might have lots more question in the future what I feel after surfing around buses
