No Power

So I back the bus into the angled driveway so it would drain easy when I pressure washed it yesterday. I go out today to remove it from the drive and it doesn't seem to have the power to move it forward. I may have to call a tow just to pull it out of the driveway.

It's running but lacks the power to move forward?

Random thought but I would confirm that the parking brake is disengaging.

Called the tow truck out. When he arrived it would not crank, dead battery. He listened and said dead as a door nail. But then I remembered when it's in park, it's actually in reverse. Dropped it down one position to neutral and she fired right up. But still not enough boost built to move it. Didn't take much for him to move it. Pulled it back onto the front lawn, big mistake after the torrential rains we've had and the rears started sinking in and spinning due to the drive tires on front and the steer tires on the rear. Had have him pull me forward out of the ruts. Paid him $28. I scared me when I got on the grass and was giving it gas, but it wasn't moving. I couldn't tell the tires were just spinning in place.

BTW- the bus smells much better after 1/2 gallon of fabric scent bleach and a good pressure washing.

Note: A diesel engine will have no balls when cold. If the engine was warmed up 30 minutes prior, it may of came out on it's own power. Or it might have left some terrible ruts!

Drive is asphalt, if it were dirt my bus would have been 100 yards down the hill in the woods.

LOL ... I take it this is the newly acquired bus.

I am glad you were able to get it back on dry land without too much fuss.

You got it backwards, I took it from the asphalt to the muddy front yard., won't be dry land for days.
