NuBe with Bus Question
I've been looking around for a while here and have not seen a reference to the bus that I have a chance to get for what I think is a very reasonable price. Here are some of the spec's. IT is a 1993 Bluebird on a Chevy/GMC frame (?) with a 366 Chevy/GMC gas and propane engine. It has primarily run on Propane. It has 183K on the chasis and 140 on this motor. It is from the local school district. it has 60 gallon gas and 60 gallon propane tanks..the gas tank is full the propane is down a bit. It has an automatic transmission and I did not ask the seating capacity, but the bus guy at teh school said it is about 43 feet long. I know I can get it for $1K but maybe even less. It has fairly new rubber on it. Could someone tell me abou that engine? It would seem that that is a great deal, but I have had those great deals before and not had a lot of good come from them.
