The Wanderlodge motor home was made by Bluebird and had the distinction of only having one recorded death from a rollover accident in their history of 50 years. In a
school bus you are 60 times safer in an accident than a car or truck. I myself went with a Bluebird because the wife liked it for the two toilets it had on board, your mileage may vary. Bluebird has been around for ever and they have a good track record, mine has the 8.3 Cummins with the MD3060 trans. It's a 1996, I understand the 8.3 was a mechanical engine up until 1998. See Bertha bus, Broccoli bus and Vlad's 98 TC2000 roof raise and 2 slide outs. Good luck in your search.
