I'm starting this as a list of those 'other' sources for goodies used in conversions;
1) The low voltage outdoor lighting is 12 volt. I found replacement bulbs for the small sealed beams used in the flashing lights (wig-wags) in the hardware store. As I'm using one set of them for turn signals. These bulbs are plastic not glass, halogen and only 14 amp, where the glass ones are about 40 amp.
2) Many states have 1 or two RV wrecking yards, so let's get a list started, if any of us are on the road and need a part, we will have a resource.
A) Western Washington

Rochester, SW of Olympia.
3) Many wrecking yards have a few RVs way out back, and have no clue what RV parts are worth. My 56 gal. water tank with fittings was $20
4) Tell all your friends what you're doing. Many times they will have an old trailer they want to get rid of. If you can get the title, slap a few sheets of plywood on the old frame and sell it as a dirt bike, snowmobile trailer.
