Painting Stainless Steel Rivets

I noticed most people are getting stainless steel rivets. I ordered theses as well, but how do you get paint to adhere to this? Do you need a special kind of paint? Any information is greatly appreciated since I’m new to all this and I’m at the stage of putting sheet metal up today.

Here's what I did. Clean/degrease, scuff pad, solvent wipe, followed by either a 2k primer or an acrylic bonding primer (which I used on any galvanized sheeting), then top coat.
I had zero issue with adhesion to SS rivets, which was put to the test with masking tape that I used for painting my trim.
