Photos of underneath...

I have been looking through your photo album - lots of nice work and creativity displayed! I am wondering if any of you can point me to some projects that have pictures of the underbody? I will eventually find them...but would appreciate it if it could be sooner

Search for pictures of the 'chassis', skoolie chassis pictures, something like that should help your search.

Got it! So the frame is 2 main beams running front to back, with supports branching off of them to hold things up...much like pre-unibody autos and trucks...much like mobile homes.

Here's a good video showing how one (common) type of bus is made:

Part 2:

It doesn't really have "supports branching off of them to hold things up". Rather, the floor is made from folded and stiffened pieces of sheet metal and the sides and roof are attached to this floor, and then the entire body is clamped onto the chassis rails.
