Piano Hinge Pin Size

I have a question for those with factory under body storage. What is the diameter of the pin in the piano hinge for the doors?

I'm getting ready to order some stainless steel hinges and I think .06" (16 gauge) leaf thickness with an 1/8" pin should be adequate. I'm using the existing skirting for the doors which is also 16 gauge.

The next size up is .09" leaf with 1/4" pins and they are about 2.5x the cost and seam a little overkill.

Thanks

Ted

I did some more research and found the common recommendation for piano hinge sizing is to size the leaf thickness to the material you are attaching to for horizontal applications. So some nice new stainless steel .06 leaf thickness x 3" with 1/8" pin are on order.
