pneumatic door

Has anyone converted their double door to a single door while still keeping it pneumatic? I was originally just going to remove the whole pneumatic system and put an RV door in but now i'm reconsidering my options.

I remember about a year ago someone made a folding door into a single solid door which still used the pneumatics. They were trying to preserve the look of the bus door.

The question I have is if it's pneumatic how do you open the door from the outside?

You'd just have to wire some kind of activation mechanism up that could be reached from outside. You could enter a code via a keypad or hook up a wireless key-fob mechanism. The specific item doesn't matter as long as it activates the pneumatic mechanism inside the bus.

Sounds good.

Are you going to put in a new RV like door or reconfigure your old door?

I like the amount of glass in these bifold bus doors when I'm driving. There's no good way to really insulate those steel doors and all that glass in the winter thou.
