Protecting mini split condensers

Hi all, I've had my mini split installed for almost a month now, and I've taken it on the road for about a total of 100 miles. In that time, I noticed some tiny rocks getting lodged in the very delicate fins on the condenser, mostly on the side that faces toward the front of the bus. I was wondering if anyone has devised a good way to protect these from getting clogged with rocks? I was thinking aluminum window screen material behind some expanded metal, but then that might get clogged too. I'm curious what solutions are already "out there" and road tested in particular!

Hardware Cloth aka Welded Woven Wire Mesh.

Also, find the correct size AC Fin Comb or a multi-set of combs. Fins help to make the cold air & not freeze up.

Can you post pictures of the installation?

I'm thinking you need to deflect everything coming at it.
