How many miles on the bus? I like to stay under 200K when buying. Burning oil means eventually you will need new piston rings. I'm guessing that is not a cheap job. I probably wouldn't buy it, especially at that price!

I seem to see a lot of options in your neighboring state to the South- Colorado. Sometimes for seemingly good deals, too. One time I saw a nice looking older 4x4 bus for under 3K... food for thought. I just got a great bus out of N. Dakota. I bought mine from an individual, but he got it from Harlow's Bus Sales. Might be worth a try, depending on what part of Wyoming you're in.
Also, Bartons Bus Sales in Jamestown, ND might be worth calling.
