RE side emergency door dimensions?

Anyone have a pusher with an emergency door halfway back on the side? If so, could I respectfully request the clear dimensions when it's open? As in, "Could we fit an upright piano through it?

We want to turn a bus into a moving van and have crossed RE off the list - but depending on the size of that door they might still be an option. Thanks!

Yeah, the height is the critical dimension. I measured the back door on a 2002 (or so) International CE and it was a couple of inches taller than I needed. I can't remember the door dimensions just now (maybe 57"?) and the tape measures are out in the car else I would measure the piano.

Yea the side doors are only 24 or so wide.... I thought they were a little taller than 36 though, maybe 40-44? I can't go check tonight, I don't have 24 hour access but tomorrow I can go with my tape measure and see what I get.

My 1999 Thomas RE has a side emergency door sized 32 × 56 inches. Most are narrower.

That might be large enough. Thanks!

Of course, that just means that I need to look at more buses... and save more money... sigh...
