The window's interior width is around 53 inches. Might make a queen a little tight

Those risers are angled so if you go high enough I'm sure the mattress will fit LOL

I'm ok with a little curve, we will be using a 10" futon mattress so it will curve those few inches on either side without being too bad most likely! Thank you for the info!

queen fits perfect, could def fit king but no walking room for queen or king. i bunked out the flat above back window for gear, carpeted the upside down trapezoid spot in front of rear window then bed in front of that with the fresh h2o tanks under bed. this left room for my electric panel and huge storage under the bed. check my pics page 2 i think there is one of the master bedroom in progress that shows it if not im updating them this weekend.

You have your queen sideways though. I'm wanting the head of the bed up against the window. As in under the shelf you have back there.

youll have to measure it. i valued the storage space above more. and with it there the head room for bed under it was nill. and you can totally cozy up under there on the carpet and read or whatever, and with 3 kids, that makes great space for hang time in mom and dads room. the bunk above as well is good for play space if wanted
