Rear Heater Removal

Question....do you have to remove both rear heater and front heater (by front door)? Or can you only remove rear and keep front working?

My bus is a 2007 international ce200 and I’m also removing the rear heater. Mine has two long hoses that feed the rear heat to the left of the driver’s seat right behind the console along the left side. I’m going to connect the two so as to bypass the rear and keep the front until plumbed. I hope that helps answer your question.

Yes, that helps. I have a 2007 IC CE300. Has the 2 hoses and electrical running to rear heater. Was going to connect the two hoses be done, and still use front heaters. Wanted to see if others done this or if anyone disconnected rear AND front heaters.

Unless you are a polar bear, you would like to have some sort of heater installed. The ones in front are great for keepin the driver area warm.

Kept mine on my 2008 CE300 short bus. Webasto autonomous heater Scholastic worked very well during conversion. But then I cut the cable to the small control thermostat to shorten the cable and now the thermostat does not work anymore. Still have to figure out how to fix it. But that is a different story.
Why would you want to remove yours ? you will most likely need a heater of some sort overnight.
